Words I Need to Hear
Everyone needs to hear some kind words when they are feeling low, or having a rough day, week, month, year!
Sometimes the simplest words can have the most healing effects and just knowing that you're not alone and someone is thinking of you, can make a whole world of difference.
After going through a tough time myself recently, I received a card through my door from one of my bestest friends. The front of the card had the simple words 'Hope you feel brighter soon' on reading those words, without even opening the card, they brought a smile to my face, and tears streaming down my cheeks. The feeling that someone was thinking about me and had taken the time to send me a card was worth everything in that moment.
The handwritten words inside gave me comfort and warmth - they were the words I needed to hear.
This got me thinking....how many other people are there all over the world, that could benefit from a few handwritten words of comfort? I'm guessing a LOT.
